Missouri titles non-U.S.-standard imports with a 'Non-USA Standard' brand after a Highway Patrol inspection, and lists the HS-7 boxes it will not title.

At a glance
- Import ease (where verified): Titleable, but branded or limited to restricted plates. Imports without a U.S.-standard MSO are branded Non-USA Standard; HS-7 Box 1 (25+ years) is not on Missouri's list of ineligible boxes.
- Kei / mini-truck: No kei or mini-truck rule found in the sources read. No kei or mini-truck rule found in the official pages read.
What the official sources say
- Missouri DOR: a vehicle declared under HS-7 Box 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 or 13 'is not eligible for title or registration in Missouri.' Box 1 (the 25-or-more-years-old declaration on the NHTSA form) is not on that list; additional documents depend on the box selected.

These transactions can only be processed by the Central branch in Jefferson City or by mail-in processing.

Not verified (do not rely on ImportClock for these)
- The page's table of extra documents by HS-7 box (including which boxes need a safety inspection) lost its column layout when read and is not reproduced here.
- The pages do not say in words that Box 1 vehicles are titleable; that is read from Box 1's absence on the ineligible list. Confirm with the department.
- Missouri safety and emissions inspection treatment, kei vehicles and fees beyond the title fee ($8.50 title plus $9 processing) were not verified.
